More Pleasant Weather Ahead
Moisture associated with an upper-level low moving across South Carolina will be around today; however, drier air will be working into the region today and tonight. Temperatures will be milder today with increasing sunshine. We have the slightest chance of some stray drizzle or a passing light shower through the daytime today. Skies will become mostly clear tonight leading to two days with sunshine and pleasant weather. Enjoy Friday and Saturday! Clouds will increase Saturday night and showers will develop Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will fall Monday with rain showers changing to snow showers or flurries by late Monday afternoon.

Forecast Discussion
Low pressure moved across the Gulf Coast states yesterday and will churn off the Carolina Coast today. The upper-level energy driving this system will be on the South Carolina Coast late today. We can expect a NE flow with mostly to partly cloudy skies. Even though I left it "out of the forecast box", spotty light drizzle or a stray shower is not impossible during the daytime today.
High pressure will take control of our weather Friday through Saturday with more sun and pleasant weather--the nicest couple days maybe going all the way back to November. Enjoy!!
The next front looks a slower than we thought previously. It will stretch from New England to St. Louis and south along the Mississippi River by sunset Saturday. Our weather will be dry through Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Showers develop by Sunday afternoon and last through Sunday night.
Colder air will wrap in behind the front as an upper-level low moves over us late Monday. We can expect falling temperatures Monday with rain showers changing to snow showers or flurries and blustery conditions. Cold, snow shower/flurries, and blustery weather will continue Monday night.
The system will exit to our northeast Tuesday. After morning drizzle or snizzle Tuesday, we should see some sun by late afternoon with moderating temperatures. Temperatures will be above normal Wednesday--very nice again.
