Snowshoe on Sugar Mountain
Snowshoe tours are one hour per session every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 3pm; Saturdays at 9am & 3pm, snowshoe rental included. Groups are welcome anytime. Sign up at least 15 minutes prior to your tour time at the Ski/Snowboard School building.
Grandfather Mountain Open, Weather Permitting in Winter
Conditions of the road and walkways at the Bridge & animal habitats vary day-to-day. Phone the attraction entrance gate to confirm we're open. 828-733-4337. Backcountry trails inside Grandfather Mountain State Park are open, but please use caution and dress for the weather.
